How to reverse pre-diabetes

I have heard it said by so many people that "sleep is a waste of their time" my reply to them is that maybe it’s the case that, "much of your time is a waste without a good night’s sleep". The other comment I often hear is, "I will sleep when I am dead". Well, for some people a lack of sleep will unfortunately, lead to an early death or at least ill health. In this episode of L.E.A.N Bites Live I will share with you why sleep is so important to our wellbeing. I will also share why sleep is also important in your efforts to lose weight and why a lack of sleep can stall your weight loss efforts.

The show will focus on the four focus areas of the L.E.A.N MindBody Method. Nutrition in the form of sugar and refined carbohydrate reduction known as low carb eating. Improving sleep and sleep habits, effective exercise, healthy habits, and having the right attitude and mindset.

The launch episode was called L.E.A.N Lifestyle Tribe Live. The name of the series has now been changed to L.E.A.N Bites Live. In this launch episode I shared my journey of how the L.E.A.N MindBody Method has benefitted my weight and health. I also shared tips to start on a sugar and refined carbohydrate reduction diet.

EPISODE 2

Date: Wednesday September 30th 2020

The subject of this week was visceral fat and why you should be concerned about it. Even if you are slim with a flat stomach, visceral fat is something you should be concerned. I also added a couple sections to the show. The first one is 'Sugar Smash' where you have to guess the sugar content of three foods and 'L.E.A.N Reflection' where I end the show with an inspirational message.

In this week on L.E.A.N Bites Live the topic was 'Why We Get Fat'. So many people who want to lose weight spend lots of time and effort in trying to find the best way to lose those extra pounds. Maybe, its’ time to change the question being asked from "How can I lose weight?" to "What makes me get fat?" When you understand the real reasons why you put on weight your efforts to lose that weight will be more focussed and effective.
