It is a 35-day programme. There are a series of pre-programme activity modules that need to be completed before you start the programme. These modules will help you to plan and prepare for the programme ahead while also helping you to understand how the programme works and how to navigate the modules.

This is a question I always get asked. The fact is there is no such thing as an essential carbohydrate. Essential means your body needs it to function. Protien is essential and so are Fats but not carbs. The brain needs a certain amount of glucose a day, however this can be provided through the leafy green vegetables you will eat on a low carb diet. Glucose is can also be created though the other sources in your body without the need for carbs. This and much more information you will find in the LK Centre once you enrol.
A ketogenic diet is not only safe to, do it is safe to do long-term. Many people having been living on a ketogenic diet for a number of years. A ketogenic is even used to treat children with epilepsy.
A low carb diet is one of the best things you can do for your health if you have diabetes. However, you must keep a close eye on your blood sugar levels because the keto diet reduces them. If you use your usual insulin dose, which also reduces your blood sugar your levels may drop too low, leading to hypoglycemia. Because of the affect carb restrictions on your blood sugar you would need to monitor your levels closely during the programme.
Certainly, a low carb diet can be an excellent way to lose excess weight, while still eating all the nutritious foods that you and your baby needs.

If you are on blood pressure medication and start a keto diet, there is a risk of getting a low blood pressure (hypotension). It really depends on the type of injury you have. The exercise programme has three levels from beginner to advanced and can be done at your own pace. I would advise seek the advice of your doctor on how much and how intensive you are able to exercise.
