The Seven Principles of Mental and Physical Well Being, will assist in improving the health, well-being, energy and performance of your employees.

Some well-being programmes can be a bit dry and serious. This workshop is highly interactive, fun and engaging, whilst also being informative and educational. Using science-based knowledge and personal experience participants are engaged, informed and empowered to take better control of their health.

This interactive facilitator-led workshop uses the word ‘RESPECT’ as an acronym to present a set of timely principles that collectively form a powerful course of action for change in the way participants view their mental and physical health and well-being.

The seven easy-to-remember principles are:

Module 1: My Health, My RESPONSIBILITY
Learning objectives

Participants will gain a greater understanding of how they can take control and responsibility of their mental and physical well-being.

Module 2: Education, Education, EDUCATION
Learning objectives

Participants will learn some key strategies that they can use to take better control of their mental and physical well-being.

Module 3: Learning to SAY NO
Learning objectives

Participants will gain a greater understanding of some key factors with regards to their health and well-being, that they may need to reduce or eliminate in their lives.

Module 4: The power of healthy PEERS
Learning objectives

Participants will gain a greater understanding of how their friends, family, work colleagues and their social circles can and do have a powerful effect on their mental and physical well-being.

Module 5:  Self-esteem and EXPECTATIONS
Learning objectives

Participants will gain a greater understanding of how expectations and self-esteem has a powerful influence on how they manage their weight and also their mental and physical well-being.

Module 6:  Choice and CONSEQUENCES
Learning objectives

Participants will gain a greater understanding of the consequences of their food, exercise and lifestyle choices have on their weight and also their mental and physical well-being

Module 6: It’s your TIME

Participants will gain a greater understanding of how to best make use of their time in work and at home to make better health and well-being choices.

  • Develop a greater understanding of the how personal choices affect their health and well-being
  • Develop a greater understanding of how food affects their mind body and thinking
  • Learn new strategies to take better control of their health and well-being
  • Develop actions points on how they will improve their physical and mental well-being
